If somebody asked me what my favorite flavor was, I would say gianduia. But I would change my mind a few seconds later and add cookie dough, pistachio, chocolate, red bean, mint chocolate chip, macadamia nut and this….
Black sesame ice cream!
This is best tried at Asian restaurants because they don’t tone down the flavors. They tend to do that at ice cream stores with more non-Asian customers.
They have this at Chinatown ice cream factory but it tastes watered down.
This one from Tsumura is perfect.
Just the right amount of creaminess and sweetness and a mouth full of black sesame!
Boom! That’s how I like it!
